This privacy policy explains how the Nexal Intelligent P&ID Sync plugin (“the Plugin”), published by Nexal Technologies Ltd (“Nexal”, “we”, “us”), handles data. It applies to the Plugin as distributed through the Autodesk® App Store for use with Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D.

The Plugin generates and updates AutoCAD® Plant 3D drawings from engineering design data held in the user’s Nexal account. The user enters a share code; the Plugin retrieves the corresponding project’s design data from Nexal’s servers and writes it into the user’s local AutoCAD® Plant 3D drawing.
Design data retrieved from Nexal. When the user enters a share code, the Plugin requests that project’s design data from Nexal’s servers over an encrypted connection. This data is used solely to generate or update the user’s local drawing. The connection is read-only: the Plugin retrieves data, it does not send drawing content, edits, or any user data back to Nexal.
Local log file. The Plugin writes a diagnostic log file to the user’s own computer (in the local application data folder) to assist with troubleshooting. This file remains on the user’s machine, is not transmitted to Nexal or any third party, and can be deleted by the user at any time.
Data is collected only when the user actively enters a share code and runs a Plugin command. It is used only to fulfil that request — generating or updating the user’s drawing. No data is processed for any other purpose.
The Plugin does not share data with analytics providers, advertising networks, third-party SDKs, or any other third party. Access to a project’s design data via a share code is governed by the user’s Nexal account and Nexal’s main service terms and privacy policy, available on request.
Because the Plugin does not send user data back to Nexal, there is no Plugin-collected user data held on our servers to retain or delete. The local log file is stored only on the user’s own computer and may be deleted by the user at any time. For data held in the user’s Nexal account (separate from the Plugin), users may request access or deletion by contacting [email protected].
Users may stop all data handling by the Plugin at any time by uninstalling it and deleting the local log file. To request deletion of any data associated with their Nexal account, users may contact [email protected].
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
